Is anyone intrested in tramping this weekend? Probably miter peak done and a 1.5 day trip over either friday or saturday night.
A car would be needed for this so a contigency is probably somewhere in the orogarongas, where one can buss too.

So I thought it would be great to get out on a day trip on monday, probably of a vage ''M'' grading. If someone has a car I like the sound of going up mt holdsworth, but mt hector (or at least kime) is equaly possible. If no-one has a car I think the choice is limeted to Mt reeves or kapakapanui, of these two kapakapanui is a much nicer track ...

The trips going away this weekend is divided into a Medium-Easy and a Medium fitness group.

Ok the plan for this is to head into the Belmont Regional Park for a day walk this weekend. It will be whichever of Saturday or Sunday is best weatherwise. I’ll make a call on Friday. Along the way there is a diverse range of landforms and vegetation as well as old amunition bunkers from WW2.
