I feel similar. It will be unpredictable Tararua weather. There are chances for awesome views :-) I would propose to walk from Waiohine Car Park to Cone and then we have the choice:Via Cone Ridge to Totara Flats Hut and the Waiohine Valley backTo Mt Hector via Winchcomb Peak and backor similar...Cheers, Achim
