    Blister problems anyone?

    Hey all,

in return for placing an ad in the club mag we got about 10 free samples of Hikers Wool, basically a very soft lambs wool which is supposed to do wonders for treating and preventing blisters. Just tear off a bit, wrap it round the affected part of your foot and it will bind to your sock, cushion, reduce friction, wick away mositure, etc.

Or so it is claimed - if anyone wants to give it a go and see if it works, let me know and I'll bring some along on Tuesday. Personally I found that wearing a polypro sock liner did the trick for me and I haven't had blisters since. And then there's Steve with his toedoms.

This might be the next wonder treatment though (and is free) so try it out and post some feedback here!

Crikey... there's a new facet of club business, we'll be shearing a few thousand lambs in a couple of months if anyone wants to put in a pre-order.....

Don't think even that could beat the thin then thicker socks though.

It does work - but you can just pull some wool of a fence ! Does the trick!
