    Friday night shenanigans

It is Friday afternoon,  following Friday afternoon happens to be Friday night and despite some beliefs Friday night is not for sitting around and sipping cups of tea waiting for a 9:00pm bed time.  It is a time to get our and execute some shenanigans.  I think shenanigans could come in the form of

    Heavy drinking.
Rapid tramping, go away Friday night back Saturday morning
    Movie watching
    Climbing
    Friday night rampage

So if you are interested in partaking (not that I actually know what it is going to be) or have any ideas or other forms of shenanigans,  please let me know

How bout sitting in front of a roaring fire, drinking some (or lots of) beer and watching a couple of movies?

That's what I was thinking anyway, its too cold for rampaging...

That sounds like a plan to me.

We could always sit in front of a roaring heatpump at my place (to minimise our carbon foot print) while a cake is in the oven.

But either way it defiantly sounds like a plan

...how about getting prepared for tomorrow's quantum mechanics exam...

(and doing sprint training for ultimate frisbee tomorrow, after the exam is done!)

    well, better have fun!

Making us sound like old men Terra - I want my tea by the fire!

Craig, if I had a way to get to Ngaio and back that didn't take 2 hours I'd be keen - otherwise creating a large carbon footprint sounds quite appealing really :)

    Hey Matze!

Frisbee and quantum mechanics, what a combo! Sounds like watching the frisbee arrive, considering whether - according to Heisenberg's uncertainty principle - you know its position or its momentum... You are still calculating its spin and figuring out whether its properties are more describable as a particle or a wave when you see this cat running across the lawn... Schroedinger's cat!! --- BANG!!! And the frisbee knocks you out and you can't go to your exam.

What do we learn from that? - Nothing, I just wanted to contribute something...

Haha, you got the idea, mate!

However, I don't consider the disc as a quantum particle as its spin can apparently have continuous values... that are hard to measure in terms of the Planck constant h.
