This Tuesday night (16 October) we are having our once a year fantastic event, Our annual Last Supper club dinner where we descend on some unsuspecting, but nevertheless reputable, establishment to consume fine food and wine.

Don’t be fooled by the name “Last Supper” it is really our one and only supper of the year so it is more like “First Last and only Supper”.  Maybe for the reason that there are would not be enough establishments in Wellington if we were to do this more than once a year.  So rest assured the tramping club is still moving along at a blistering pace with many things coming up including labour weekend fun and a summer calendar due out shortly.

This year the arrangement is a set menu option at Roti on Willis street, a small Indian and Malaysian restaurant opposite the Willis st village upper Willis street.

The plan is to meet there at 7.30pm on Tuesday night.

So the deal is a selection of entrees to start to share, including vege options, followed by a selection of main courses to also share with rice and homemade rotis for the set price of $23 per person. BYO wine, although there may be a small corkage charge. Sounds like a deal to me.
