This weekend, the 21st, 22nd the club is running an Alpine Instruction Course from a skifield on Mt Ruapehu, most likely Whakapapa if you know the mountain.
No experience is required
No technical gear is required,
you will however need a warm sleeping bag, anything above 0 degrees c comfort will require a few layers aswell, good full length ...

Hey! got a few emails at the meeting but if you want to go bouldering around wellington on sunny weekend days at short notice, pm me your email and il tell you everytime i see conditions are good.
The only requirement for these casual trips are rock shoes, check trademe.co.nz if you don't got em!

On trademe, i believe they are the type of bindings that accept plastic mountaineering boots or the like.
