I am running an easy canyoning trip either tomorrow night or Thursday night   The Canyon is in the Hutt Valley near the Haywards Hill it is pretty straight forward and there probably is not a lot of water in it at the moment but you will need to have warm clothes and preferably a wetsuit, dry bags and a head torch. As the weather is so nice there are a few of us heading down to Oriental Parade to enjoy the sun and go for a swim.  We will be on the beach south of the Band rotunda.  Come down around 5:30 – 6:00pm

Just to add a bit more to this.  The car is going on the ferry at 2am on the 27th of December.  We have 2 spaces left if you are keen.  This time of year the ferries are not a cheap affair so it will be $120 odd or less with 5 people.   From there we will head over to Payne’s ford and stay at Hangdog for a few days up to just ...
