If being a man means you're silly enough to haul a 13kg rock out from totara flats to holdsworth, I think most women will agree they are happier as they are!

OK, the plan for this weekend is to drive round to Cape Palliser some time on Saturday, find a place to camp where we can enjoy the sunshine, swim by the waterfalls, scramble around the rocks and drink beer. We’ll go for a bit of a day walk on Sunday, maybe for a mission to find the mysterious Frog tarn (just cos it sounds cool).

Hey everyone,
This weekend is our midwinter Christmas tramp! The plan is to head to Mangahao flats hut in the tararuas on Saturday (meeting at Hunter carpark at 8am) and come back out again on sunday.
It's going to be an awesome trip with lots of yummy Christmas food, so if you want to come (why wouldn’t you?!) and haven’t signed up already ...
