• Tubing the Hutt Gorge!

Hey everyone, for those not going up to Tongariro this weekend there will also be a tubing trip down the Hutt gorge running either Saturday or Sunday (weather depenedent, looks like Sunday better at the moment). If you're not familiar with tubing, this is where we jump in some inflatable truck tyre inner tubes and chuck ourselves down a river ...

Anyone else keen? There are various plans depending on the weather that go something like this: Weather good - perfect: go for a climb on ...

  • Ruahines anyone?

  • Re: New Years - in the mountains

Also I've got off until the 10th of January, so afterwards I might be keen (weather dependent) to go further down the coast and climb something biggish and snowy like this: (Mt Sefton from the west coast and welcome flats) or this: (Mt Brewster) Terra will be keen at least!

  • New Years - in the mountains

Hey people, So on the subject of New Years, is anyone else keen to go down south and hang out in the hills? I'm probably going to do a west coast trip of about 7-8 days in and around Ivory Lake - i.e. this place: Currently it looks like me, Annabel, Terra plus maybe Jack, Hazel, Jason, others... It will be fairly rugged, hopefully involve ...
