• Re: Beginners weekend Tramp? 15-17 May

Hi guys, I'm keen to go with Alyn to Mid King Biv that weekend and it's probably not the ideal beginner trip. However I will probably be leading a good introductory trip on the 6 - 7 June since I've had a few requests for another. There may also be an easier option the weekend before when we go to the Ruahines.

Party: Jason, Jeremy, David, Nora, and a name I forgot (sorry) One seemingly innocent weekend in the first university break of the year I was supposed to be leading a weekend trip into the Rimutakas. However with many people away on bigger, more exciting adventures during the break there wasnt much interest. So plans changed and I ...

  • Re: Kaitoke Day Trip this weekend

Haha yea. When I looked at the forecast a day or two ago Saturday was looking kinda alright... Now I'm wondering if a run down to the local fast food outlet for lunch might be a better idea.... Thanks for the heads up :)

Righto chaps and chapesses this is late notice but a few of us are keen to do a mission tomorrow. The plan is to head to Kaitoke and do a loop walk, tramp, or run. The choice of how far you want to go is entirely up to you as there are three different options available. They are approximately 10km (gentle half day), 20km (solid day) and 30km ...

  • Re: Freshers 2009

Real happiness comes from within. A woman could not understand that carrying the rock was not objective. A man would understand the objective was to challenge ones commitment, and self belief. The goal is not to carry the rock, but a battle with ones inner self. There is no hill, only self doubt.

  • Freshers 2009

Freshers 2008 was absolutely massive. We had a full bus and quite a few cars along as well. So when we were struggling to fill a bus this year I was a little concerned but decided numbers counted for nothing and Freshers 2009 was going to be great anyway! It was the first club trip I'd taken as president, and the first time I'd ...
