Renata Hut

Located on Renata Ridge not far from Maymorn Junction.

Sleeps: Around eight on one platform.

Heating: Open fire.

Camping: No.  Renata Peak is worth camping on though for views similar to Elder hut.

Good ole Renata hut. Can be cold but theres sum good hunting beyond Elder biv and into the snowy. I pulled a nice 12 pointer out of there a couple of months back.

Stayed at Renata Hut around August last year, my brother in law and I had to clear Waitararu Road first (took around 5 hours) after the snow had felled trees.

We arrived at the hut around 1am, the hut is just as cold as I remembered 20 years ago (last time I stayed there).

Was good to see a nice amount of firewood waiting for us (which we replaced).
