This is looking up at the saddle between Tahurangi and Te Ataahua from the Crater Lake. All the debris and tracks on the right side are from me and Ben skinning and then climbing up the steep soft snow to the saddle. The small avalanche centre left was triggered by me skiing down - you can see my tracks come out about halfway down on the right... The nice short turns on the far right are from Ben, who is a far better skier than me!

Before we got there it was a virgin snow slope, after it looked like it had come out of a brothel!
