Dead Dog sits on a sunny terrace way up Big Hill stream.  It gets very little use, and that use is almost exclusively hunters.  Access can be a problem, the closest roadends all require permission.  We dropped in via an old track off Herrick Spur and climbed up to No Mans road to exit the valley.
