Because...

Saturday morning we are meeting at Hunter's car park around 8.30-9 AM and from there, driving up to poads road end (Levin area) and having a nice smooth walk to South Ohau hut.

South Ohau hut is a nice hut down the valley just at where Butchers creek joins with South Ohau river.

The plan is to follow Gable end, crossing Butcher saddle and follow down Yeates track. It a 5-6 ish hour track with a little bit of tops. We will stay at South Ohau hut and head off on Sunday morning. We should be back to Wellington early afternoon.
