    Bush Ball!!! is here!

VUWTC proudly presents the 2010 season of Bush Ball.  One night only and not to be missed!  Dig out your Sunday best and join us for the social highlight of the year on 15 May 2010.  The theme is “The Phantom of the Opera”.

Tickets are $10 and include a complimentary first drink.

Located at Smiths Creek in the Tararua Forest Park.  We will be leaving from Hunter Carpark at 11am on Saturday morning.  There will be a short tour past the harbour, followed by a leisurely stroll.  We will be greeted by the opening curtains at our final destination!

If you wish to arrive seperately from the group, it is the Kaitoke road end.

Bring your formal atire and a mask for the masquerade, your frineds, a tent if you have one, and normal tramping gear for the weekend.

See the poster on the Home page!

If you have any questions, reply to this post and we will get back to you.

    Thanks,

    Mikey

    Yay,

    Very excited.

Also, there will be little room in the shelter for sleeping. Make sure you bring your bed rolls and tents are highly recommended if you have them. We will be bringing a few flys for those without tents.

Also, bring your car to the car park if you have one, otherwise bring 5 dollars for your driver if you don't have one.

I'm not sure what the policy is this year but it's usually the more the merrier. i.e. non-members can come along provided they purchase a ticket.

Yes, its about 2 hours walk in and then two hours walk out the next day.

If you want a comfortable trip, bring:

    -Water bottle
    -Dinner and Breakfast
-Rain jacket and tramping clothes for the walk in and out
    -Spare warm clothes
    -Sleeping bag
    -Sleeping mat
-A tent if you want, otherwise, there will be flys to sleep under.

Also, for those of you who can only come later (not meet us at 11)  and dont have tickets yet

That is all good there will be 'door sales' - so round up all your friends and make it along for a great night!

We are camping near the shelter mentioned above. Bring your tent if you wish or otherwise you can sleep under the flys that we will have set up.

    Cheers,

    Adam
