Taranaki this weekend!! 

 Will be awesome - an absolutely beautifull mountain, fabulous views, and some ice on the top for those who are keen! :)

 This is a basic mountaineering trip ie there is snow all the way, and it is steep and exposed in places. That means that you need to be comfortable walking in crampons and self arresting to come. It is also a 2518m mountain, so a good level of fitness is also required. But saying all this it is well worth the effort! :)

 The plan is to drive up fri night, then walk to the summit saturday, camp up there, have a play around, then come down sunday.

As previously mentioned I will also be practicing my lame impromptu comedy over the weekend so there is another great reason to come along.

PLUS I am still keen to get photos of people looking HARD. Mountains make great backgrounds to such photos even if you don't actually intend on climbing them. Mountaineering equipment is also very very good for this. Simply holding an ice axe in a photo doubles your hardness rating!!!! You can't lose.
