There is a lunchtime forum co-hosted by Kevin Hague Green MP and Craig Potton, wildflife photographer and author on Thursday 23 September at 12.15pm (seminar room 1, St Andrews on the Terrace).
The Mokihinui, on the West Coast of the South Island, is one of New Zealand's last remaining wild rivers and is under threat from an 85m hydro dam proposed by Meridian Energy.
Kevin and Craig will screen 'A Tale of Two Rivers' and excerpts from Craig's upcoming 'Rivers' TV series, followed by a discussion on the Mokihinui, the proposed dam, and what we can do.
RSVP to Sophie Belton on Sophie.belton@parliament.govt.nz or 817 8253 or just come along on the day if interested.
