Hey just a reminder for anyone wanting to go skiing (or boarding) on Ruapehu this winter, that cheap season passes need to be bought by next Monday May 3. They're $395 (or $385 if you got one last season), and at $80 odd a day that means you only need to spend 5 days on the mountain to make it worthwhile. Also I'll be keen to pool my diesel-mobile for cheap rides to the snow, especially midweek overnight trips (skip one day of work) and the odd weekend to combine some skiing and climbing (maybe ski touring too).
