The Banff Mountain Film Festival is on next week over two sessions, Tuesday 27th and Thursday 29th both at 6.30pm. See http://www.nzalpine.wellington.net.nz/?page_id=2858 for more details of the sessions. Its usually pretty spectacular and well worth going to.

I'll probably go to the Tuesday one as it has got all the wintry stuff (skiing ice climbing etc), and I think Alyn is going to the Thursday one.

Tickets can be obtained for $20 from the Paramount theatre on Courtney Place. Or if you talk nicely to me and get me the money this week I can probably get them at the reduced price of $15 for NZAC members...
