Hi All

The summer calendar is now up and underway and first up this weekend is hut bagging to the new Sth Ohau hut in the northern Tararuas.

The plan is to head in on Saturday so you can still go to Adam's party on Friday night...

We would meet on Saturday at the Hunter car park at 9am. There is then around 2 hours drive and up to a 5 hour walk in with some of the way up the south branch of the Ohau river and hopefully some swimming spots to cool off if this weather hangs around... We would then stay at the new hut and head out on Sunday over Butcher Saddle and down Waiopehu ridge to make a nice loop. 

The trip wouldn't be too hard but will involve around 3 hours of river travel. So if anyone wanted to bring some goodies for the hut on Saturday night...
