VUWTC is running a 1st aid course (well with a little help from the Rec Centre and St John).

from 9:30AM to 5:30PM
in the Yoga Room of the Rec Centre on Kelburn Campus

This course will cover units 26551 and 26552, that are the certificates your NZ employer will love!

Costs:

We've booked a full course (20 places) for us and are keen on getting it filled up soon. That's why we offer the course for soooo few bugs.
If you think, 80 NZD are too much for this, you are welcome to compare and tell us the result .

Depending on the success of a grant application the price likely to be reduced even more. You (being VUWTC member & student, details to be cleared) will get the reduction no matter when you've sign up.

Just to clarify, this course is subsidized in 3 ways:

* by the uni having a special agreement with St John and providing the rooms
* by the tramping club willing to carry the deficit this event might create. So we are in the position to divide the full costs by the limit number of participants and hope to get the course fully booked.

* by the clubs grant money, which comes from the student services levy.

That's the price students pay - it's their money.
