Want to go to my first snow this year!
(As usual) Metservice is pretty undecided about this weekend - so it is not clear what we can do over the bush line/snow line - so here is my dream:

One group (Pia's) will be starting from the Wairarapa side on FRIDAY evening (5:30 PM). They will stay in Wharepapa Hut.

There might be a third group. If you are ...

This weekend we are heading to the Northern Tararuas. It looks like a
fine weekend except from some showers Fri night/Sat morning... but we
will find out. By now 10+ people are interested.
If you want to come along to have some (easy to medium fitness) fun, please contact me.
I'm sorting out groups and trips today.

Right now we are five, taking the Bluebridge ferry to Picton at 2:30AM on Sunday, so we have all the time to hitch hike to Marahau at that day. On the way we sort out the food in Nelson/Richmond or Motueka.
As it is tramping club tradition, we tend to buy our breakfast/lunch stuff individually and cook group dinners individually: These are three ...
