the NZAC hut is probably booked out for the coming weekend (see forum on glenn's website), so tent would be good. The technical gear each of us would need is: helmet, hammer, axe, rope, 2 snowstakes with slings and cables attached, a few quickdraws, a few ocking carabiners, belay device, harness, 2 or 3 slings, any ice screws, pitons, wires ...

I try to get my van insured till then so we could use it (fits 5 persons I'd say).
