On Crinkle Top

The bumslide down was easier!

We turned around here. Not so much because of this bit, but due to it being late in the afternoon, slow progress, slippery snow and tussock and clag blowing in and out - didn't quite seem worth it!

There was tons of soft snow around. Quite a few snow slides off the tussock too that were slightly unsettling...

What typically happens on the west coast unfortunately. Looks pretty though!

A nice hut in good condition, with porch and woodshed! So called because 120 odd tins of jam plus other supplies were reputedly dropped here by mistake sometime back in the day...
