Far far north, ie. not too far from Cape Reinga is super rugged, surf is bangin, diving/ freediving is productive, i think there are a bunch of walks up there too. And sand boarding is the absolute ***. It would be funny to try and live on the dunes, it would be like desert survival, except with pipi's and snapper and a body board.

Very keen, just need to sort out a flat for me and Whit first, i amd oen with exams on the 11th, so is he, and it would be nice to go jump on some trad routes before Paynes!

Hey,  Planning on taking my car down to Takaka for a week or two of complete sport bumming at Paynes Ford once exams are over and i have sorted accommodation. Now Terra has bailed to go climb in the snow in summer (go figure) and Sam has gone back to the land of sand, it is just me and Whit in the car and we think its a shame not to go down ...

I am going to be fluctuating between the Bay of Islands and Golden Bay/ Rest of S. Island around this time. Will definitely be in the Bay over Christmas, keen for any shenanigans up that way, i know a bunch of cool spots that way, might beable to steel the boat of dad for a weekend to. And im pretty nifty with the ole speargun if anyone else would ...
