• Geocaching

Hey guys, Just been looking at the geocaching wesite. Uf your planning on doing a day trip it might add an extra interest to the trip. Check out the website http://www.geocaching.com/. • Re: Bog-standard tramp anyone?

I'm thinking of staying up after snow cavng and spending a day or 2 climbing/skiing. Then maybe head off and do a tramp for 2 or 3 days. Not sure where yet - maybe something nice and easy like lake Waikaremoana. Hopefully mid week there wouldn't be many people around! It isn't entirely clear if backcountry hut passes are ok during winter on ...

  • Re: Stewart Island

Just to clarify - that budget is done on going all the way there and back - if I decide to scope off somewhere else climbing, I won't be asking you to pay for the expenses to get me home!

  • Stewart Island

Righto, just realised this is the last week of uni before the holidays! I thought there was another one! Anyway I'm pretty sure my feet are going to be sweet for some stewart island missioning, so the plan is: Leave Monday 20th Aug in the morning and drive down to bluff. Get the ferry across to Stewart island on the tuesday morning and start ...

  • Re: Compulsory for all members ...

yeah but it does have a special self centering screwdriver for adjusting gun sights. It's clear that there is no need for vegetable preperation implements as you should only be eating possums, dear and goats - and while there is no tuning fork there is a ''Fine fork for watch spring bars'' included.

  • Anyone want to buy plastics?

Hi guys, if anyone is afte any plastics check out this place - seem pretty cheap, but are in France and postage is a bit killer. I'm thinking about getting some, so might be cheaper if we ordered together from them. Haven't quite decided yet tho. Drop me a line if you may be interested. http://www.telemark-pyrenees.com

  • Compulsory for all members ...

Do you think this should become complusory for all members to have ... never know when you'll need one, and at only just over 1kg it's pretty light! http://www.wengerna.com/browse/product.jsp?prod_id=1260&cat_id=1&sub_cat_id=23

  • Re: Anyone doing the Undie 500?

Hey Paul, I don't think the undie is going to fit in with my other plans these holidays. But having done it if there is anything you need to know i might be able to help. Be aware you need to have your car registered with ENSOC for the event and there are limited places so you need to get someone down there to queue up for you at the registration ...
