This weekend there is a marvellous event of marvellous proportions going on! We are going to Waikanae! Waikanae is a small beach town about 40min drive north of Wellington and Sam the Man Baker has a very nice batch there.
So the plan is to head up there on Saturday late morning / afternoon. Enjoy the beach, then partake in a bit of ...

There is a rumour out there about a bit of a gathering and a bit of beaching it up in Waikanae this weekend. More information is to follow but keep your Saturday afternoon – evening and Sunday morning free!!

Is anyone up for a walk up to Kaukau and or along skyline tonight (Wednesday)? Or even a trip up to the Kaukau crag for a bit of climbing??

There is a smallish crag up the top of Kaukau (it is the hill with the big mast on it when you look from the city). This Saturday I am thinking of heading up there to do a bit of climbing.
