A few of us are going to head out and do the number on canyon this weekend.   Just based on the name it seems that this should be number one on your to do list!

It is up near Palmerston North and the plan would be to head up there on Saturday evening.  For this trip you must have good experience in steep river travel and abseiling.  A wetsuit would also be a very good idea.
