A couple of us are heading up to Ruapehu to go muck around on the summit plateau.  It is likely we will be commming back on saturday night.  If you are keen to come along – let me know, we will be leaving around 7pm tonight.  To come to the summit you will need experience on crampons and an ice axe.  If you just want to ski for the day we have spare seats
