Rak Hop – This Saturday

For those interested in spending a day honing rock skills for a late summer/early autumn assault on some central Darrans test piece, this year’s Wellington leg of the NBS will be held at Turakirae Head on Saturday. Registration starts at 9am, climbing starts at 10am. There are expert, endurance and junior categories, loads of spot prizes and a BBQ to finish. The forecast is good. The price is good (NZAC members and students: $15 (please bring relevant ID); Non Members: $20; Youth 12 years and under: $10). You might even enjoy it!
