Hi everyone

I am delighted to tell you that DOC has funding to continue the successful Karobusters weekends in the next financial year (July 2010 – June 2011).

We have scheduled five trips for the year:

·       16 –17 October 2010

·       4 – 5 December 2010

·       5 -6 February 2011

·       5 – 6 March 2011

·       9 -10 April 2011.

All Karobusters trips to Matiu/Somes Island run to the same plan. We leave Wellington on the 10am ferry on the Saturday and return at 4.50 pm Sunday.  Overnight accommodation is provided by DOC in Education House and in one of the Motels.

Expressions of interest can now be made for any of the 2010-11 trips, (but I won’t be allocating seats for these trips for a while).

PS – The above email refers to the July 2010 – June 2011 financial year. We also have the last trip of this financial year in late April  2010. This trip is already full and people have been individually advised.
