PLUS I am still keen to get photos of people looking HARD. Mountains make great backgrounds to such photos even if you don't actually intend on climbing them. Mountaineering equipment is also very very good for this. Simply holding an ice axe in a photo doubles your hardness rating!!!! You can't lose.
