Hello,

 Ben and I have decided we will run a pre Glens course AIC. If you are interested in getting into mountaineering and would like to attened Glens course, but don't have basic alpine skills (using crampons, self arresting), then contact Ben or I. We are planning on running it the weekend of June 12th-14th (ie leave fri night, come back Sun night). We will teach all the same skills as for the general club AIC, thus if you can't make the general AIC but want to go on midwinter then you are also welcome to come on this weekend instead. It will be relatively weather dependant, but given the amount of snow on Ruapahue at the moment we can teach skills low on the mountain in cr*p weather.
