hope everyone had an exciting time at bush ball - we could hear music from the other side of the river at 10pm, but couldn't quite get there...

 I need to get vague appoximate numbers for the conservation trip to Somes island on 13th -14th June.  You can do a day trip on either day or stay the night.  DoC is wanting to know approx. how many ppl are coming and how many are staying over.  Last time I went over to Somes, they got us checking the bait stations and we saw lots of skinks,which we got to pick up and wetas.  We also helped removing a water system.  There could be work getting rid of pest plant species.  It's an interesting place to be, with cool people.  So yeah, reply to this post, or flick me an email if you are keen.  preffereably this week. 

Also I'm buying the permits for Kapiti island tommorow, so if you still want to go, email me today.
