Having graduated VUW and left NZ exactly one month ago, I returned home to Florida, USA. I find I am at a loss in terms of adequate tramping, at least when compared to glorious NZ. Recently, I did something similar to tramping [tropical storm Fay (google it)] but alas, it was no substitute. So in the spirit of VUWTC, I am going to a place called the Ocala National Forest for some good old-school bushbashing. I'll keep everyone updated as your foreign US correspondent. Look to trip reports in a few weeks.
