Heyhey

So I'm sure everyone is planning all their journeys round visiting Mt Cook or if you're not you should be!! The sun hasn't stopped shining since I got here (although Andrea assures me she's bringing some rain down with her) and I'm itching to get up into the mountains with some of you lot!! Plus I have been diligently clearing the area of all things pretty for you! Anyway so definitely make sure you somehow time stuff to end up here!! And at weekends cause that's when I can come adventuring too!

But speaking of which, due to the excellent timing of Christmas and New Year's this year I probably won't be round here then (not quite sure what departmental holidays are but they mean I'm going to have about two and a half weeks off!!) Anyway so think Mum is paying for flights for me to get home for Christmas but then am keen for some mad missions somewhere after Christmas, especially if they're down south (although might potentially be heading to Gisborne)!! So keep me posted on the plotting for round then! Think I have to be back at work on 6 January or something if I take a few unpaid leave days.
