My work is sending me to Southland, and I have a some days to kill on the 6-8 August. If anyone feels like a pioneering, Speightsman adventure, will be in Southland/Otago on that Monday-Wednesday, and wants to come with us (OK a bit of a stretch....) come join us!

 I'm going to head up Old Man Range - one of the windswept tussock ranges down that that is quite high, with a friend to do some 4 WD driving/ snowshoeing/ tramping in snow/ staying in a musterers hutone night. Mulled wine, damper bread and all that jazz. Cowboy hat not supplied.
