    Taranaki tramp

    Hello all-

Peter and I were thinking of organizing a tramp over to Mt. Taranaki from Friday, June 3-Monday June 6.  Probably won't go up to the summit, but hike around/ up partway/ it's really up for discussion.  Also, the dates and times for leaving can be shifted if people can't get off of work, etc.

Let me know if you're interested!

     Hi Laura,

I'm living in New Plymouth now. If you guys need picking up or droping off at different roadends, or a floor to crash on in New Plymouth let me know (I'll be at work weekdays 8am-5pm but could help you out before/after work).

    Cheers,

    Glyn.

    Sounds cool, I'm also keen.

Anytime between the 29th June and 6th July would suit. I also have a car if necessary.

    Re: Taranaki tramp

If you're there and the weathers good, i do have to highly recommend you go up to the summit, it should only take you about 2 or 3 hours and the views from the top are amazing, on a good day you can see the south island on one side and the east coast of the north island on the other.
