A bit closer to home than Mt Taranaki, we are also going to Turakirae for bouldering on Saturday (17 April).  We will be meeting at Hunter Carpark at 10am on Saturday morning.  Bring $5 for your driver, lunch, warm clothes and climbing shoes.  If you have a bouldering mat, bring that as well.  If anyone has a bouldering mat that we could borrow, that would be much appreciated.

 Turakirae is near Barring head where we were a couple of weeks ago, but the problems are better.  It is a bit further from the beach, and a bit more sheltered

If you don't have climbing shoes, the club does have a few pairs that may fit.  Alternatively, it is possible to hire shoes from Fergs Kayaks.
