Hey Paul,
I don't think the undie is going to fit in with my other plans these holidays. But having done it if there is anything you need to know i might be able to help. Be aware you need to have your car registered with ENSOC for the event and there are limited places so you need to get someone down there to queue up for you at the registration or you won't get a place. If you aren't registered you can't get into the pubs along the way, which isn't a disaster as you can just drink in the carpark, but still it's better if you can be registered. From what I saw when I was looking for the dates it looks like they are cracking down on it a bit more this year (although i think they always try to) in terms of the fun stuff "no airborne objects including eggs" acording to the ENSOC site.
I'd defiantely reccomend the undie tho - it's a great time with plenty of stupid antics, but it will cost you quite a bit for te car, decorations, booze, ferry and fixing it if it all goes wrong - that or dumping the car and getting yourself back home.
