Hey Dudes, VUWSA want me to let you all know that the wonderful group Sustainable Coastlines is running a bit of an event in Wellington between the 8th and 13th of December. If anyone's keen to generate some warm fuzzies you can go along and help out. They're looking for people to: - volunteer their time to come and help pick up rubbish on either Thursday 8 or Saturday 10 December. - help lead a group of school students on Thursday 8 December - manage an 'event station' on Saturday 10 December - assist in auditing the rubbish collected on either Mon 12th or Tues 13th of December (or both). You would learn how to run a rubbish audit and collate data to present to the community to obtain invaluable resources for ongoing educational work.
