So the plan for this weekend is to do a lovely circuit over the Broken Axe Pinnacles in the Tararuas. I'm looking at a medium / medium fit circuit leaving from the Holdsworth Road end on Friday night and returning to Wellington on Sunday evening. However the weather is looking less that ideal for a trip to these pinnacles so I might come up with a back up plan instead so we can still get into the hills but avoid all the rubbish on the tops.

Come along to the meeting tomorrow if you want to get a brief run down of the intended trip and see a few photos of the area. In my opinion it has some of the better views in the Tararuas. Oh and it would be ideal if heights don't bother you too much but don't let that exclude you from coming along.
