Zealandia or Karori Wildlife Sanctuary has free entry this weekend, Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 October. It is a great place to see our wildlife up and close - especially the Kaka feedings, it is not often you get to see Kaka up and close on the mainland!

Free entry for all locals this weekend!
We are now 15 years into our incredible journey to restore a corner of NZ as closely as possible to the way it was before humans arrived.
To celebrate, entry will be FREE for all residents of Greater Wellington Region between 11am-5pm this Saturday and Sunday. In addition to free entry, there will also be FREE boat rides, FREE ranger talks, FREE tours of the weta cave and FREE kids' activity packs all day.
