As a member of VUWTC you are (on presentation on your membership card) eligible for the following discounts (Note that this would usually exclude sale items):

• 10% at Bivouac Outdoors (39 Mercer Street)
• 15% at R&R Sport (125 Victoria Street)
• 15% at Mountain Designs (78 Mercer Street)
• Fergs (Wellington Waterfront): $8 climbing on Wednesdays after 5pm and $10 climbing at all other times. $2 harness hire and $4 shoe hire.

Additionally, club membership also entitles you to FMC (Federated Mountain Clubs) membership, which gets you additional benefits (see here for full list) - especially 30% off an annual hut pass.

FMC cards usually arrive half way through the year, but if you are lucky there might be some left over from the previous year - just ask the treasurer or secretary.
