New Waiopehu built in 2002 is a comfortable modern facility, but with increased visitor numbers the track up Waiopehu Ridge has become very muddy.  Located near the bushedge on Waiopehu.

Sleeps: Around twenty.

Heating: No.

Camping: Limited and uncomfortable.
