I have a roof rack for skis and plenty of ...

Hey, If the weather is not quite so marginal I'm keen to go climbing on Ruapahue this weekend! Any one else keen? I'm thinking of playing around on the Pinnacles. It won't be a instuctional trip as such - there is AIC 2 and snow caving for that comming up soon, but whatever your ability you can come on up and have a potter around or climb ...

  • Re: Ski/snowboard buddy

Last night I wrote an extremely basic webpage for checking the ski reports on your cellphone: http://cubalan.net.nz/snow/ Check it out on your computer first, but there are three pages(summary, detail for each field), and its about 10 times smaller data wise than the official sites. Hi guys, A group of us head up any weekend we can, usually leaving early(5am) Saturday and coming back Sunday evening. We stay at The Crossing backpackers. Most often we have 4 in the car, but I'll be sure to post when we have a space free! Where do you others stay?
