Oh man thats really sad. Actually me and some mates from aucks were set-netting in the manukau 2 years ago and we caught one of those. It was pretty much stuffed when we found it so we kept it. Its still in the freezer waiting till I find a Japanese guy who can tell me how to cook it. Yous seem to know heaps about them. Any ideas what to do with it?

Hot pools and mountainbiking this weekend

Hey all. The current plan for this trip this weekend is to leave early saturday morning... (say..9), head north till we find somewhere to mountain bike, then go to kerosene creek and camp nearby for the night. Kerosene creek has a hot waterfall. Sore bodies plus cold beer/wine plus hot waterfall plus stary night = churchur goodness! We would head back to be in Welly by Sunday evening. For this trip we need to fill up a few details.

1. Where we will be mountainbiking.

2. Where we will be camping - there is a bit of camping ground near kerosene creek but I'm told it might not be that safe. Maybe if we have plenty of tents it would be OK?

My phone number is 021 237 2921, but it would be cool if you are interested if you just let me know on this forum. Also, can someone bug kate to see if she can bring her van?

We will also need some tents and cooking equipment for the saturday night. Anyone got a key to the gearshed?

Party this saturday. Its at 8pmish...4 Natalie way, Karori. Thats the small street off karori road just past shops called Mud Cycles, yummy curry, real thai and a dairy... can't remember what the dairy was called. I'll attach a map.

Hey all, I'm just handing in my thesis after nearly 4 years of work. I'm having a party at jeremy's house on Saturday the 31st of March. Everyone is invited and I especially want all my VUWTC buddies who have been there in the last few years to come and get drunk and dance like morons. I'll give the address at club night.
