BBQ and Choc Fondue Thursday

Ladies and Gents,

We're having a BBQ followed by a chocolate fondue this Thursday night.

Plan is to start BBQ about 7-6 and go from there. All are welcome, so long as a donation to choc fondue is made; some fruit, chocolate, lollies, chillies are good. BYO BBQ food, the flat will get some bread, sauce and onions or something, the girls will probably make some rabbit food into 'salad'.

Next Year.... Who's staying?

At the meeting last night I heard a lot of people saying that they're not going to be around next year. Was just thinking I'd start a thread to see who is going and where theyre going to... Can all those that are going please report their intentions?

Personally, I'm heading to Christchurch to knock off an Engineering Degree....

Party this Weekend

Guys and Girls,

To celebrate something*, we are having a few drinks at our flat this Saturday night. The BBQ will be keeping carnivores warm, and sing star will also be making an appearance, so enough said really, should be good times, the more the merrier!!

*denotes many things, and make a reason for yourself, but its mainly to formally welcome our new flatmate, Rebekah to the place, and also a farewell for Kit, but since he's delayed his travel, so we'll have a separate one for him another time.

Abel Tasman Kayaking after easter

Hey Guys,
I have an American flatmate who is really keen to go and Kayak the Abel Tasman the week after easter, but would like some company. So, if you're at a loose end for that weekend (say 28th to the 4th of April but quite flexable) and want to do the Abel Tasman (if you don't know what it is, it probably won't be for you), drop us a line.

Sammy sammy sammy. Who said anything about dealers? Harvesting is where its at, and the sounds has a shitload of that stuff; grows on the side of the road over there, it'll be taken to the more suitable place for drying (Nelson) and then to a more suitable place for selling (Takaka). I hope this clears things up, as I would hate for you to think I'd be associating with dealers in any way.

The plan for the mighty 'rolla are currently to head across on the morning sailing of the 27th then head to the portage or some other place in the sounds, pick up some cash crop to pay for the journey, stay for at least a night, check out the Awaroa Inlet, feast on Kaimoana, then head to Goldan Bay. I have a railways house in Nelson we could book for some insanely insane price, if needed. Sarah has to be back on the 6th so we're heading back for that date. I have one Craig, and one Bernard and Maybe a Sarah and Sophie os quite full on the way over.

If anyone is thinking about taking a car across, but the price is a bit restrictive, come and speak to me - I might have a deal for you!!

The period after new year, like most others', is up in the air at this time.
