I'm always keen to check out cheap gear if they are still happy to get things in for us! I am looking for some plastics, snowstakes/pigs, and maybe a bivvy bag and crampons...

Sounds great Kiera! I am definitely keen to come along. I'm interested in basic/general tramping gear including socks, clothing items in general (which means icebreaker too)! Thank you.

Yep!

In desperate need of tramping boots and like Hazel, would look into merino top and fleece pants. Need good climbing pants as well but dunno if they offer any...? How about quickdraws?

Hey guys,

As I mentioned at the meeting R&R sport are interested in having an open night for members of our club, where we can get really cheap deals on a range of outdoor gear!

They want to know how many people would be interested and what sort of gear you are looking for so they can get in touch with their suppliers and arrange us some sweet deals.

ie do you want general tramping gear such as packs, overtrousers, raincoats, boots, tents, etc or more specialist climbing stuff like crampons, axes, ropes etc.

If you're interested at all give an indication here (no commitment) and we'll try and organise something for 3-4 weeks away, probably on a Tuesday night.
