well i do believe brent (the manager of mainly tramping) does partake in a bit of the sea kayaking....

but yes, it is very sad, now we (bivouac) has no other nice shops to send people to for mountain hardwear, asolo, la sportiva, dmm etc etc....

Yes, very sad. Goodbye Mainly Tramping. You were not run by Australians, or fishers, or a kayaker, you didn't only offer discounts in the sales, your gear didn't immediately break, and you were always friendly and never tried to sell me "ladies boots" (for rugged places like the main street of Karori). :-(

Mainly Tramping is currently having a big sale as they are closing for the last time on Saturday (ie tomorrow). There's some really good gear at discounted prices and it's a great time to show your support for a shop that has supported the club with various discounts over the years.

And now's the perfect time to get another warm layer for mid-winter or a new pair of socks for your next trip, or even a sleeping bag.
